How can we make a difference?
That is the question we asked ourselves. In an ever-complex world of challenging global events, volatile commodity and input prices, and so much uncertainty, we want to help make a difference for our partners in family farming and agribusiness.
Our roots run deep in agriculture. Kari grew up watching her grandfather tirelessly work to provide for his family on their family operation, which included row crops, cow-calf, and dairy. Erik grew up in his family seed business, founded in 1937. We love farms, and farming, and have devoted our careers to being part of the American food & fiber system through our work in the bookkeeping, accounting, and financial services industries.
Hence, we have been part of many tough conversations. Family Farms and Agribusinesses seem to have new challenges and opportunities every year, and the stress takes a toll on our communities. So, we asked how we can help and make a difference.
We believe that the key to winning in these challenging times is better decision-making. Accordingly, making good decisions involves using Math, Science, Reason, Logic, History, and Data and eliminating Emotion. The first step is making sure your breakeven, cash flow projections, and costs are all accurate and up to date. Bookkeeping is that first step. Our experience and understanding help our clients be able to see more clearly, and spend their time focusing on the reasons they got into farming and agribusiness.
From there we can help you with a variety of Risk Management and Farm Family Transition issues. We understand the emotional investment you have made into your operation. That is why our experience and backgrounds led us to also deeply invest in our customers, and work with them to make a difference.
So, if you are ready to take more stress and uncertainty out of your operation, contact us. Together with our clients, we will all continue to make a difference.
